FTP Cycle Workshop
A Function Threshold Power test, or an FTP test, is a spinning endurance challenge – as heavy and as fast as you can maintain for class time. *We recommend skipping any intense cardio or leg workouts 24 hours before the test so you can come in energized!
This represents your ability to sustain the highest possible power output over class, depending on whether you’re a trained athlete or not. As a result, 95% of the 20-minute average power is used to determine FTP.
